The SOUND of USD New Orleans Trip

The SOUND of USD Marching Band, USD Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble I are going to New Orleans February 8-14, 2024 to march in the Krewe of Endymion and Krewe of Orpheus parades in celebration of Mardi Gras! The information below will assist you in making travel plans if you choose to accompany the band.

Schedule

The SOUND will arrive in New Orleans the evening of Friday, February 9, 2024 and depart afternoon on Tuesday, February 14, 2024 (Mardi Gras Day).

The SOUND is marching in the following two parades:

Krewe of Endymion, Saturday, February 10, 2024.
Krewe of Orpheus, Monday, February 12, 2024.

Alumni, family and friends will need to make their own travel and housing arrangements. The above hotels are only recommended due to their proximity to The SOUND of USD’s housing and the end of both parade routes.
