Support the Farber Funds!
Your gifts help to prepare students for a lifetime of leadership as citizens of the community, state, nation and world.
The Farber Student Internship and Travel Fund Endowment (Farber Fund #1) supports students in participating in valuable activities across South Dakota and around the world. In the spirit of Doc Farber and other professors who mentored generations of students, our department encourages students to “Think of the possibilities!” by seeking out internships and study-away opportunities. These experiences complement traditional classroom learning and on-campus activities, helping students gain real-world insights. Each year, at least 60 students receive Farber Fund #1 scholarships, making these opportunities possible for many who might not otherwise afford them.
Thanks to the generosity of our department’s alumni and friends, we continue to heavily subsidize these transformative experiences. Your support helps change lives and guides our students toward their future careers. Thank you for your donation, which will support the next generation of students passing through Dakota Hall on their journey to making a difference in our state, country, and world.
