Dakota Days Alumni Band

One hundred and ten years of Dakota Days! We’re celebrating with a Sound of USD Alumni Band Homecoming Extravaganza!

Find your horn – or borrow one from the band room - and join new friends and old on October 11^th and 12^th for fun, football, food, and ride down main street in the parade.

The recently remodeled National Music Museum will be open with new and permanent exhibits, so be sure to plan some time in your weekend to stop in and check it out.

Friday, October 11^th:

5:00 p.m. – Rehearsal | Band room, Fine Arts

5:30 p.m. – Foundation and Alumni Association Reception | Sanford Coyote Sports Center

(Awards ceremony begins about 6:30)

6:30 p.m. – Dinner | Old Lumber Company, downtown

8:30 p.m. – USD Sound Bytes downtown tour

Saturday, October 12^th:

8:15 a.m. – Parade Gathering, with breakfast | Dr. Cranson’s driveway, Main Street

9:00 a.m. – Parade from the flatbed of a bright red semi-trailer

11:00 a.m. – Tailgating with lunch | West Tailgate lot

2:00 p.m. – Coyote Football vs. Northern Iowa | DakotaDome
